Serpentis, much like other systems in the Starfield universe, like Charybdis, holds a treasure trove of secrets waiting to be unearthed by intrepid explorers. The journey to these hidden depths begins with locating the system itself. Nestled within the expansive star map, Serpentis is strategically situated towards the right side, just at the bottom left of the Ixyll system, so I recommend approaching it this way. However, you must first explore other systems that stand in your Grav Jump way.

The first system you must first discover is at Ixyll’s 5 o’clock, called Moloch. The Moloch star system is 21.696LY away from Ixyll. Having the right ship, Grav Drive module, and/or ranking up Astrodynamics may be what you need to reach Moloch.

The next system standing in your way is the Hyla system, 10.441LY away from Moloch.

The final jump from Hyla to Serpentis is 29.393LY, which may be challenging for most players, as it’s close to the max Grav Jump limit of 30LY. While I use Ixyll as the vantage point to locate Serpentis, it may be wiser for you to follow a different route, which includes more jumps but a lower distance between each grav jump.

Serpentis stands out in the Starfield galaxy as a system teeming with vibrant wildlife, a rarity among the stars. As you venture across its diverse planets, you’ll stumble upon abundant resources ripe for harvesting.

Noteworthy finds include the scarce Vanadium inorganic resource on Serpentis I, alongside Lithium deposits on both Serpentis IV and II. Moreover, the system’s moons are not to be overlooked, as they are home to valuable elements like Palladium on Serpentis V-a and Neodymium on Serpentis IV-a.

Even in the later stages of your campaign, Serpentis remains an invaluable destination. As a level-55 system, it offers ample opportunities for rapid character progression by engaging in combat with the local fauna, particularly on Serpentis IV.

In addition, the system is a hotspot for encountering Va’Ruun enemy ships, presenting chances for thrilling space battles and lucrative plundering or ship commandeering. Embrace these opportunities to bolster your fortunes and experience in the Starfield universe.
