One of the most formidable early adversaries in Armored Cored 6 is the Juggernaut, a hulking tank you’ll encounter at the end of the Operation Wallclimber mission in Chapter 1, the game’s ninth campaign mission. If you plan to square off with this mechanical monstrosity, take a pit stop at the resupply drone ahead of the fight. Although the Juggernaut might seem devastating if you attack it head-on, you can easily cheese it with an elusive AC that attacks it behind its back, allowing you to complete the mission fast and earn 330,000 COAM easily.
Best Juggernaut Builds
When assembling the ideal build for bringing down the Juggernaut, you’ll want to aim for a balanced or slightly lighter loadout. My approach is always going for the sturdiest legs I can and then very lightweight cores and arms. The NACHTREIER/46E arms are my favorite due to their high Firearms specialization.
This boss may be an intimidating mass of metal, but its sluggish movement provides a tactical edge you can exploit. Since this is early in Chapter 1, you might not have many parts to choose from. But don’t fret; if you find an alternative tactic that does the trick, by all means, go for itArmored Core 6 is flexible when it comes to boss-battle strategies.
Now, if you want to cheese this boss and reach Rank A or S for the mission, I recommend a build that requires acquiring SONGBIRDS at the end of Chapter 1. The SONGBIRDS deal massive damage if you hit the boss’s back and will almost immediately stagger it. I also provide a second build, though, which uses only laser weapons, the same ones I used against Smart Cleaner.

Juggernaut Moveset
Let’s dissect Juggernaut’s attacks a bit. This boss has a simpler moveset compared to what you’ll face later. First, watch for a brief pause, signaling that Juggernaut is about to dash across the arena. Sidestepping this attack is crucial, as it deals massive damage. In addition, Juggernaut intermittently fires missiles and frontal guns. The HUD will display indicators for the incoming missile barrage, so keep your eyes peeled. When you’ve whittled its health down to around 50%, the Juggernaut deploys glowing mines to protect its rear. This can make the battlefield hazardous, so stay airborne to avoid unwanted explosions.
Juggernaut Strategy Guide
The Juggernaut is a front-heavy fortress, so you’ll need to outmaneuver it to find the chinks in its armor. You won’t be alone initiallyyour ally Rusty provides a welcome distraction during the first half of the battle. As Rusty recommends, don’t take the Juggernaut head-on. Take advantage of Rusty’s distraction to get behind the boss’s back and unleash your laser, grenade, missile, or melee attacks.
When you’ve cut its health in half, Rusty bows out, leaving you to finish the job. Use assault boosts to dart behind Juggernaut and unleash hell. You could even land on its backside with some finesse (you can watch me doing this in the video guide, although I skipped the finesse part) and deliver an uninterrupted flurry of attacks.
Keep airborne to dodge the mines it lays out in desperation, and you’ll send this behemoth crashing down in no time. Remember, the key is to be as elusive as you are deadly. With the right build and tactics, you’ll make quick work of the Juggernaut and clear one of the most lucrative missions in terms of money you can earn.
