What is the LOGHUNT Program and How It Works AC6

As you dive into the mechanical warfare of Armored Core 6, you’ll soon encounter the LOGHUNT Mercenary Program, an initiative by ALLMIND that requires you to discover and destroy targets marked with the LOGHUNT target icon to obtain Combat Logs to submit to the program. Collecting Combat Logs will increase your Hunter Class, unlocking new AC parts as rewards for ranking up.

How to Unlock the LOGHUNT Program

Upon completing ‘Operation Wallclimber’ in Chapter 1, a message pops up, officially inducting you into LOGHUNT one of ALLMIND’s initiatives aimed at supporting mercenaries. From this point on, select missions will feature designated enemies. Defeating these foes will award you Combat Logs. As your collection grows, you’ll advance in ranks within LOGHUNT, and each rank-up will unlock new, increasingly powerful parts for your Armored Core (AC).

How to Identify Missions with LOGHUNT Marked Enemies

The Mission Replay menu will help you identify which missions feature enemy mechs marked with the LOGHUNT icon. As you can see in the image above, missions with LOGHUNT enemies have a log icon in the column, along with a box. If the box is ticked you have already collected the Combat Log(s) from this mission. If the box has a diagonal line then you haven’t obtained the Combat Logs from this missions.

You can also see the same information in the Mission Info tab after selecting a mission. Under the rewards section, you will see a BATTLE LOG entry below the COAM entry with three different values.

  1. No text: If there’s no text, then the mission doesn’t contain any Combat Logs.
  2. PENDING: This means that you haven’t defeated the enemies marked with the Loghunt icon and haven’t collected Combat Logs.
  3. COMPLETE: You’ve eliminated all relevant enemies, so no more Combat Logs remain.

Navigating your way to Combat Logs requires a bit of exploration. While sometimes the enemies carrying Combat Logs are unmissable, other times target enemies are often tucked away, off the main route. When you encounter an enemy with a Combat Log, a special icon will appear next to their health and stagger bars, making it easier to spot them.
