The Nautiloid is the first area in Baldur’s Gate 3, where you start the game as either one of the origin characters or your custom-made one. Apart from rescuing Shadowheart and deciding what to do with the intellect devourer, you can also loot two brain jars in the Nautiloid. Where to Get Brain Jars in the Nautiloid
You can find two brain jars in the Nautiloid, the Dark Mind in the third pod room, and the Slave Mind in the fourth pod room before accessing the helm. They appear as cylinder cagey containers with a green glow. The map below will help you find their exact locations.
The Dark Mind brain jar in the Nautiloid is across Shadowheart’s pod, as shown in the image below.
The Slave Mind brain jar is close to the corpse of the cultist, where you find the rune that will help you rescue Shadowheart from her pond.
All you have to do is interact with the two items to obtain the brain jars, which can be placed in the Mind Archive Interface so that the Slacked Skin Head obtains the consciousness of the mind inside the brain jar.
