How to turn-off cross-play on Apex Legends
Apex Legends cross-platform and cross-play option is automatically enabled. If you don’t want to play with players outside your own platform, you can simply turn this feature off.
To do this, follow the steps below:
- Open Apex and go to the lobby screen.
- Click on the cogwheel in the lower left section. This will open the game’s main menu.
- Select “Settings” in the drop-down menu and get to the settings screen.
- Scroll down the options section and disable the “Cross Platform Play” option.
That’s it! When you turn this option off, one of two things will happen which platform you are playing the game on:
- If you are playing on PC you will only be matched with PC players. Console players will not be included in your matches.
- If you’re playing on a console, you’ll only be matched with players with the same console as you. When enabled, this covered all consoles except PC.
