A weapon mod is a customizable component that can be added to almost any weapon in the game. To attach these mods to your weapons, you’ll need to find a Weapon Workbench, where you can also detach them if need be.
Furthermore, each weapon in Starfield comes with a “mods” stat, indicating the maximum number of mods that weapon can support. For instance, the Keelhauler weapon can accommodate up to six mods, from optic ones and receivers to muzzles and barrels.
