Starfield features over 100 outpost modules of 12 different categories, each serving a different purpose in enhancing your base aesthetically or functionally. How to Build Outpost Modules
To build outpost modules, press ‘E’ to interact with your outpost beacon and enter your outpost’s build/modify mode. Press ‘TAB’ to switch to the build mode if you were left on modify mode. From there, press ‘Z’ or ‘C’ to switch between the different module categories and scroll down to select any module you want to build (if you don’t have the resources to build it, it will be grayed out). If you have the resources to build a module, use your mouse to pick a free location with your outpost’s limits and press ‘E’ to build the module there.
