The Well may not be New Atlantis’s fanciest district, but it comes with its perks (and a Trade Authority store, useful for the thieves and smugglers among us). Once you get there, you will find multiple vendors, while there are areas of interest for several misc/side missions in New Atlantis.
However, getting to The Well is not as straightforward as exploring the rest of New Atlantis’ districts.
There are three ways to access The Well from three different locations. Two of them require an elevator, while the other requires you to open a door. Here are all your options to get to The Well:
- You can get to The Well using an elevator at the main square in the Spaceport/New Atlantis district (Spaceport district is an unofficial name, but I suppose everyone calls it by this name).
- You can get to The Well using a cargo elevator from the Tram Station in the MAST district.
- You can get to The Well using a door from The Lodge‘s basement.
How to Get to The Well from the New Atlantis Spaceport
Once you land in New Atlantis, take the ramp from the Spawn Point in front of your spaceship toward the UCSec Safety and Security Center. Once you reach the entrance of the UCSec offices, you will also reach the district’s main square with the large fountain.
Behind the square, you will find The Viewport, Jemison Merchantile, and Terrabrew Coffee, as seen from left to right. Look for the alcove (the opening on the wall) between the Jemison Merchantile and Terrabrew Coffee stores. This is where the elevator to The Well is.
Head inside the elevator and select “The Well” floor from the panel to reach The Well.
How to Get to The Well From New Atlantis’ MAST District
To reach The Well from New Atlantis’ MAST district, either fast-travel to the district or take the NAT (New Atlantis Transit) Tram to the MAST district’s Tram Station.
If you enter the Tram Station from the spawn point, look to your left. Look to your right if you get to the Tram Station using the tram. In both cases, you will see the entrance to a large cargo elevator.
Once inside the elevator, activate the switch to your right to reach The Well.
How to Get to The Well From The Lodge
In case you didn’t know, The Well is also accessible from The Lodge‘s basement. Fast-travel to The Lodge and head inside. Once you enter the facility, turn right and then take the door to your right to find stairs to the basement. Inside the basement, you will find multiple Workbenches, a Research Lab, a Pharmaceutical Lab, a Cooking Station, and the Constellation Mission Board.
Head to the back of the basement and turn right.
You will find the Door to The Well next to the room where the Manequinn Display (Master Security Level) with the Constellation Armor Set is.

There are several things to check at The Well:
- Apex Electronics: Sells electronic Manufactured Components
- House of the Enlightened: You can remove the Raised Enlightened Trait here and find the House of the Enlightened chest
- Jake’s: Sells food and drinks
- Kay’s House: Sells food and drinks
- Medical Bay: You can find Talia O’Shea, The Well’s doctor, who can cure your afflictions, heal you, and sell you medical supplies.
- The Trade Authority: You can buy Weapons, Spacesuits, Ammo, Aid Items, and Digipicks here
- UC Security Office: Misc mission-related
- UC Surplus: Sells Weapons, Spacesuits, Ammo, Throwables, Apparel and Aid Items
