Loose Ends will have you tying up some loose ends for Yannick Legrande, the liquor seller in Neon (Core) on the planet Volii Alpha in Volii. After a smuggling job went south, Yannick is ready to shift to a different type of business model to produce Yannick’s Blend, his signature liquor.

How to Start Loose Ends
Once you arrive in Neon for the first time, you will witness Neshar Omani getting Neshar Omani getting arrested by Neon Security for smuggling. This encounter will unlock the Loose Ends side mission.
Speak to Neshar In Jail
Once you reach Neon (Core) from the Spaceport Terminal elevator, turn right and follow the road from Reliant Medical to Volii Hotel, Enhance, and eventually the Neon Security HQ. The sign is quite easily visible from the entrance to Neon Core.
You will find Neshar inside one of the cells.
Interact with the cell’s door, and Neshar will talk to you. As he explains, he was smuggling chems while working with Yannick Legrande. He was also supposed to deliver a package, and he is worried about what will become of him if it isn’t delivered in time. The package can be found inside Neshar’s Sleepcrate, and he provides you with the passcode so that the Sleepcrate manager will let you in.
Talk to the Sleepcrate Manager
Once you exit Neon Security HQ, take the first gate to Ebbside on your left. It will take you straight to Izna Sundararan‘s Sleepcrates in Ebbside. All Izna will need is the passcode Alpha–3 Kilo–4” to give you access to Neshar’s sleepcrate, C-153.
Izna will also mention some evicted sleepcrates, which she can grant you access to for 1,000 Credits each to look for anything of value in them. There are four evicted sleepcrates, so you will need 4,000 Credits to explore them all.
The first one was C-203, where I found nothing (I also found nothing in A-107, I couldn’t get a key to A-102, and I couldn’t even find B-101). Back to the quest at hand, you can now head to Sleepcrate C-153, on the opposite side of the sleepcrate building, and get Neshar’s package.
Find Package in SleepCrate C-153
Upon entering the Sleepcrate you will find Neshar’s package inside a Storage Crate to your right. You can also grab some Credits from the Storage Crate in C-203. Time to head to Yannick Legrande at Legrande’s Liquors and deliver the package.
Speak to Yannick Legrande
Return to Neon’s Core and head toward the Ryujin Industries tower. Legrande’s Liquors is the last store on the right side of the street, just past Neon Tactical and Ryujin Apartments. Initially, Yannick will think you may be a Neon Security undercover agent, but once you deliver him the package, he will reward you with 3,300 Credits (Normal Difficulty).
Yannick will see real talent in you, and the fact that nobody knows you makes you even more appealing. He will tell you about Yannick’s blend, his liquor brand, and the fact that its “kick” is the problem, so he is considering a cleaner and smoother operation with you working for him.
The catch is that Yannick’s Blend needs Aurora, and the drug is illegal outside the Astral Lounge and off-world. Yannick will ask you to get rid of Felix Sadler, his other employee. Felix is located at Warehouse 01 in Ebbside.
Find Felix Sadler
Head to the Ebbside gate behind the Spaceport Terminal (downstairs). Once you enter Ebbside, you will be at Madame Sauvage’s Place. Head towards the balcony instead, and you will see the door to Warehouse 01 on your left side.
Enter the warehouse, and you will encounter three hostile SoekguhSyndicate Thugs inside. Once you take them down, head upstairs to find Felix and a fourth Thug. Once you defeat the final thug, it’s time to deal with Felix.
Deal with Felix
You won’t even have to persuade Felix to leave; just follow the dialogue options. The alternative is to attack and exterminate him. I’m not sure what the best option is here, but here is the loot if you decide to end Felix:

- Pizza Square
- Solstice
- Combat Knife
If you need the Credits, maybe it’s worth ensuring Felix doesn’t see the light of day again.
Speak to Yannick Legrande
Yannick will now ask you to get Aurora from Xenofresh Fisheries, where Neshar worked and had a supplier for the drug. You must work at Xenofresh under a new name, Reilly Chernyshevsky. You must apply for the job and be expected to know introductory chemistry and produce recipes like AMP during your exams.
You will receive 55 EXP and 5,500 Credits on normal game difficulty, as you now have completed Loose Ends and are handed its follow-up, Fishy Business!
