How to use GTA 3 Cheats
Before using any cheats make sure to save your game and keep the save file as a backup. Some of the cheats will disable trophies and achievements and it's best to have the option to go back to your original game if you are a completionist.
A few things to keep in mind
Note that some GTA 3 cheats from previous versions of the game aren't available in the latest GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition.
At the same time, the Big Head mode cheat (Konami code) is only available in the Definitive Edition.
Additionally, the triggers for the Xbox cheat codes are flipped over from their original positions due to differences introduced during the Definitive Edition port.
How to Use GTA 3 Cheats on Consoles (PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch)
To use any of these GTA 3 cheats on consoles, simply enter the sequence of buttons listed to activate it – make sure your game isn't paused or in a cutscene when you do this, and be aware that while entering codes the buttons will still have their usual gameplay effects.
How to Use GTA 3 Cheats on PC
On PC, players need to enter the cheat codes by typing the code on their keyboard. On the Definitive Edition version of GTA 3, you should be able to enter the codes using a controller connected to your PC too.
Just make sure to isolate yourself before starting to enter the cheats so that you won't accidentally hit any pedestrians.

Pull back on the left analog stick to fly while going fast in a vehicle. This works better if you get a tank, then turn the turret around to face backward and hold accelerate while pressing fire repeatedly.
