Jasper Kryx, the legendary leader of the Crimson Fleet, gave an interview to Gayle Dunnigan of SSNN on her show, “GalacTalk.” This interview is a great piece of Starfield lore, as we can learn more about Jasper Kryx and the Crimson Fleet, from the leader’s origins to The Lock, the escape from the prison, and the formation of the Crimson Fleet. Players can find all seven parts of the interview in audio logs scattered around The Key, and this guide will pinpoint all seven locations.
Once you have all the logs, you can head to Armin aboard the UC Vigilance and hand over the logs to him, as he wants to learn more about his grandfather, who was a guard at The Lock. There is no incremental quest for the seven interview parts like the Burden of Proof, so you won’t receive any rewards, but at the very least, you’ll gain some intriguing insights into the mysterious founder of the Crimson Fleet.
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 01
The SSNN Kryx Interview Part 01 is at the end of the hallway that leads you to the Cargo Bay on the last bench on the right side. Sometimes, there will be a Crimson Fleet member sitting on the bench, while other times, you will find only the audio slate there.
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 02
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 02 is inside the gym room on The Key, on the side where NPCs lift barbells. The audio slate is on a cabinet under the No Pain No Gain poster and close to another cabinet, where you will find Peak Performance 05.
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 03
As you enter the Cargo Bay, turn right to reach the Depot. Once there, you will pass the first group of merchant shops and find a CLOSED sign. Turn right, and you will find SSNN Kryx Interview Part 03 on a table with a computer terminal on it.
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 04
For SSNN Kryx Interview Part 04, you must take the elevator to The Key’s Operation Center. Once you enter the room, turn right and enter the room on the side. You will find the SSNN Kryx Interview Part 04 audio log atop a cabinet there.
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 05
Head to The Last Nova bar for the fifth part of Kryx’s interview. You will find the SSNN Kryx Interview Part 05 audio log on the left side of the bar close to Bog, the bartender, and a customer.
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 06
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 06 is on a cabinet inside Delgado’s private quarters. Head to the Operations Center and take the stairs to the upper floor to find the Command Center with Delgado’s computer and a door to Delgado’s room. Once you enter the room, loot the SSNN Kryx Interview Part 06 audio slate from the cabinet on the right.
SSNN Kryx Interview Part 07
For the final part of Kryx’s interview with the SSNN, take the elevator down from the Operations Center and head right to enter the Bunks. You will find the audio log inside the last room on the left side of the hallway.
